Agent Sidney Leach, the human metal detector, is a relatively new agent. When completing his degree in mechanical engineering, he found he had the psychic ability to detect metals at a distance of several yards, even through granite blocks.
His natural impulsiveness and enthusiasm has yet to be eroded by the cynicism that sometimes infects veteran agents. The investigation of Hampton dramatized in Hellboy: Blood and Iron was the first time he was teamed with the “big guns” of the BPRD, Hellboy, Liz Sherman and Abe Sapien.
